happy cait

went on a trip to shanghai yesterday to pic up my friend paul. happy cait. it was a whirlwind 24 hours back and forth to the city, with about 12 hours of travel from it due to indirect routes, but he's here safe and sound and along with his wonderful self, he brought the BEST care package from my moM! THANKS mom!

last night along the bund in shanghai.





we had dinner with angela and sam and his mom tonight after a fun afternoon of classes... we sang karaoke (complete with a microphone!) in one class and had a photo slide show and drew in another. they all stared at paul like he had three heads... or like he was a big white guy with hairy arms...

went to watch the people dance in the main square and then had a foot massage and beer tonight before my friend passed out from jet lag exhaustion. i think this is how fun it should be when you have friends. i would enjoy china so much more if i had them. i am so happy to be sharing this with paul and he is soaking it all uP!
