week 2 wrap up

nothing too noteworthy going on here... here's a few of the

-met up with Tara to say goodbye, as she is headed back to the US this weekend for the next 6 months. had some pizza (yummy) and learned that Coca-Cola translated into Chinese means that your mouth is full of happiness... cool, huh? they really did their research- i would love to know what it means in other translations.

-went disco-ing and night swimming in the pool in town. we hopped a fence, ripped some pants, got into our undies and snuck in the very green (hasn't been swam in in a few weeks because it is closed yet still full) and very cold pool... then went out for some late night dumplings.

-stayed up til at least 3am every night. sick i know- but just on a crappy sleep schedule.

-made a bunch of word finds and scrambles for my students- i know- life is interesting.

-read the news at home each day- have decided to stop feeling so uneducated on current events.

-came in dead last in the points race for last weekend's fantasy football.

-learned how to say naughty, lettuce and and other various words.

not sure what's on for the weekend. trying to get myself motivated to do something, but i really just want to take a nap...
